I'm sorry, is this 8 or 4? I thought it was pretty clear that it's 8. Am I wrong? |

No, it's still Joe-4, a little later...
With the Atomic Forum board closed, we have to start all over again |

About one year ago... Yet the informative part is still online, and it's the best resource for the history of nuclear testing. |

Oh... I just discovered nuclear testing about December last year.
I see, but it is still incomplete, with other parts lacking. Could it be that the information part of the site is abandoned, too? |

Some parts are still under development, and a few US operations are still missing, like Castle and Ivy which are largely covered by other sites anyway. But the rest is top notch. I don't know if Tsar (the webmaster) is still working on it. |

I strongly doubt tsar would abandon it after putting so much effort into creating it. Does anyone still have any contact with him? |

I haven't seen any update since just before he closed it. The last thing he updated, I believe, was the French section. |

Yes, its French section, and it is May 2007. I once tried contacting Tsar but he did not reponded to my email. I doubt that he will abandon the site, because it is still up and runiing online. Could it be that he is still rying to find new documents about it? |

I wish to inform you that (sadly) the whole AtomicForum site is now definitly closed... it looks like Tsar didn't want to keep that site on anymore, after he had some "problems" (God only knows which kind of) that pushed him to close the forum.
Evidently he had enough to have this site related to some kind of bad experiences.
Sad anyway to see "our" old site down, isn't it?
Requiescant in pace... |

A shame indeed, it was a great site. The domain has been picked up as well by these guys, unsurprising as it is a busy URL. |
