CGI could do better (and the soundquality's awful - but that's maybe just my computer). But there's some time for refinement until the release.
There's another alien-invasion-movie in the pipeline: "Battle: Los Angeles", scheduled for 2011 (snippet on youtube).
The look of both movies is ok, but I have the destinctive feeling that after "District 9" 08/15-invasion movies have become pretty much redundant.
