good times, do you think that the constellation project however is adequate for future space flight?

Obama canceled the Constellation rocket program, the umbrella plan under which the Ares series act as boosters.
This forces USA to depend on the Russians, who since now much more than doubled the cost to haul our stuff per flight. Such gouging, but the Russians would be little without their oil and precious metals, as an overall trade market ... now prying for space money.
There are detailed reasons for this that I don't find appropriate to discuss here ... hotbutton socialist FAILdreams of Obama.
I do agree that this is not the time to push for the moon or Mars. ... Too many overwhelming priorities, like a sane push for far less spending in government and reducing government size dramatically ... FAR, FAR different in aim than the Obama FAILdreams.
