Yeah i have it too, got it for christmas last year.

I was actually a bit disappointed about it, yes the pictures are amazing, but since they have been blown up to such big proportions some of the pictures are a bit blurry (i am a detail freak), i could spend several minutes observing how the rim of an explosion (say i.e. trinity at 0.0016 seconds), looks like Smile.

But i would agree that the pictures he has selected are very beautiful and amazing.

I would love a book that has pictures taken by those high speed Rapatronic cameras. So you have a clear view of how the dynamics of those first miliseconds works Very Happy.

I bet they exists for all of the public tests, have only seen it for the Trinity test though....

This book is amazing. I have even e-mailed him to compliment the book, to which is generously responded to my e-mails. Definelty pick this up.

How does this compare to Kuran's photgraphy book, this one is definetly amazing.

I also have the Kuran book and i must admit that i found that one much more interesting than 100 suns.

100 suns are the aestetics and beauty of those detonations, Kuran's book is much more elaborating about the style, technology and ways to get those darn images with great details in the process and developments.

Both books are great in their own way.

I have finally ordered Kuran's book from atomcentral.com, but am still considering this one as well. Obviously from what I have read, they are both different in their own ways, but can anyone shed some more light on this one by Michael Light? Thank you very much!
