Just thought i would let you all know that I've finally passed out of Fast Jet Training at RAF Valley and have accepted an offer to go onto the F-35 fighter introduction program and eventual integration into the joint RAF/Fleet Air Arm strike force that will be based upon the new Queen Elizabeth Class Carriers. As I'm now being introduced into a new generation of British armed force i was wondering about your thoughts on this new program of integration and on the new F-35 and carriers. Just a few pointers...
1) The integration I'm referring to is not a complete integration but a process of having all pilots able to operate on multiple platforms. This means RAF pilots could be deployed as part of a larger force on carriers. The reason being that these new carriers are almost 3 times larger than current Invincible class.
2) The F-35 is being purchased and integrated into both RAF and Navy. Two different versions, F-35B and C.
Please have a look around this as it is quite important for all armed service branches, including the army.
Thanks
