A sister of mine was just at White Sands Missile Range, and she got me Eckles' new 70th Anniversary book on TRINITY, among other things.

It's a good, 158 pages book, with lots of very interesting information, including details of the technical photography of the test. The text will not lose the interest of new readers to the topic, with many B&W scan photos throughout.

You see the author, Eckles, near the beginning of Peter Kuran's Atomic Journeys: Welcome to Ground Zero. He was the leader of public relations for White Sands Missile Range for many years.
