Excerpt from the BBC program "The Blitz". Showing the explosive effects of the first long-range ballistic missile, the V-2 rocket targeted against Belgium and SE England at the end of WWII. Armed with a 980 kg Amatol warhead it impacted at 2800 km/h penetrating deep into the ground before detonating, throwing thousands of tons of material up to 1000 meters in the air. This falling masonary and powerful groundshock caused massive destruction and utter terror.
